Engine block is a real genuine GM Performance Parts LSX 454 Bowtie Block and not an OEM LS1,2,3,6 or Vortec truck block. Standard height with 4.185 bore & stroker clearances. The block itself was advertised as the strongest available from GM, made from stronger metal than other blocks and contains forged internals. 10K miles as a 454 then decided to change out the crank to shorten the stroke which meant switching out entire rotating assembly. Zero miles on it since it since last inspection and machine work when destroked rotating assembly was put it it. Being sold as machine finished bare block. Will also include Cometic LSX 4.185 head gaskets, installed LS7 camshaft, head dowels too. If you use a 4.000 crank it can make it a 440ci, with a 4.125 crank it is 454ci & 4.250 stroke makes up to 468 cubic inch all with correct length rods to match Additional parts, rotating assembly pictured are not included. I am currently parting out the engine and the block is for sale first.
