| here i have a 05 honda 450r racing bike. runs great, kick start, decent tires. fmf pipe nice and loud. everything works,ordered a new cam and cam buckets, Got the new cam in and the cam buckets in, and realized i needed some shims, so i just ordered a new hot cams shim kit, gonna reshim it, the dealer only had smaller then i needed, so i put them in, it runs good and has plenty of power but valves are noisy, but im guessing its the shims, so in a couple days should be good to go when the shim kit comes in. put the shims in but they still might need adjusted, dont really know but there is a noise coming from the engine, ive looked on youtube and found a couple videos of some running and they say its normal.it still starts pretty easy and runs good and plenty of power, dont know what the noise could be. |
