| This 1996 Infiniti Q45 if a mechanics special or a good project for someone that works on cars. This is the Q45t or Touring Model with upgraded suspension, spoiler and lightweight forged mesh wheels. Has the VH45DE 32 valve V8 engine which works fine, AC works, upgraded HD stereo, new rear tires. Recent alignment. New valve cover gaskets. Formerly a daily driver and car to use about town however gear selector has failed inside the transmission and car will not drive since not able to get into gear properly. Was verified by visual inspection by dropping trans pan. Transmission shifted perfectly for daily use until the selector mechanism malfunctioned and car has been parked since. I have another used transmission that parts can be used from or completely swapped into this car by new owner if you want to buy it too for additional cost. Must be towed or trailered as the transmission will not allow you to drive it in current condition. |
