i've got a 1993 sportster 1200. Frame is a 1993 1200, engine is an 883 out of a 2003 anniversary with about 17k on it. 5 speed, 39mm fat drag bars, 39mm forks, wide glide tree, 5.5 gallon fatbob dual tanks, chrome spoke rims, 21in front and 16 in back rims, rigid struts, solo seat, bates headlight, chrome engine covers, stock pipes with gutted/open mufflers, belt drive. needs paint job. new: handlebars; master cylinders front and back; gas tanks; custom battery cover; chrome sprocket cover; chrome strut covers; neck bearings; wide glide tree; rigid struts; chrome shifter arm; plugs; oil change in september. i built this from the frame up last summer, and i've put about 1000 miles on the bike since i've built it. cold natured but runs great. the only thing that i didn't take apart was the bottom end of the engine. top end looks good. every bolt i put on the bike has been torqued to manufacturer specs and lock-tite put on where it needs it. i've got another 5 speed evo sportster engine case that's been bored to take 80ci or 90ci cylinders. i may let this go with the bike for the right price. text/call with questions. |
